I made this simple mobile app to quickly calculate a collection of random dice rolls for tabletop gaming. The app asks for how many dice and also can calculate the number of rolls above a certain threshold, if needed.

The app uses animated dice GIFs saved in SharePoint. The GIFS are set to play once and then stop (this is set in the GIF itself). To reproduce the animation, the images are loaded from SharePoint on every rolls. This is required as the images are cached if loaded from memory and the device remembers the animation has played, so it doesn’t play again.

The GIFs are not my own creation – they are made by DanielKMach and I obtained them from https://tenor.com/en-GB/users/danielkmach/stickers.
